The Politics & Pancakes series, sponsored by Bally's and hosted in partnership with The Pell Center for International Relations & Public Policy at Salve Regina University is dedicated to bringing government officials and leaders to Greater Newport for breakfast speaking programs and panel discussion on issues of importance to the business community.

Each year, this quarterly series hosts the Governor, Members of the General Assembly, and Congressional delegation to speak on public policy issues impacting Rhode Islanders and the broader business community.

In election years, the Chamber hosts debates in partnership with Newport This Week, and local, nonpartisan organizations such as the League of Women Voters, as well as free Meet the Candidate events, held at Innovate Newport and open to the community.
