Pell Bridge Ramps Phase 2, Newport
Next week at this project, utility crews continue work on the new gas relay along Admiral Kalbfus Road with some temporary lane closures and shifting required. Once finished, they will begin work on the new gas line along JT Connell Highway south of the rotary. Electrical conduit for our ITS system will also be conducted along JT Connell Highway south of the rotary. Excavation and grading for sidewalks and the shared use path will continue north and west of the rotary. Bridge work crews will also continue their work on the bridge overpasses along Route 138 behind traffic barrier. Lane shifts along Third Street and JT Connell Highway are also anticipated for bridge repair work. Police and flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic as necessary.
