The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce will host Politics & Pancakes on Tuesday, June 23rd at special guest host location: Ochre Court. This is the second quarterly event of the series, hosted in partnership with The Pell Center at Salve Regina University and sponsored by Bally’s Corporation.
Slated to speak to the local business community are House Finance Chairman, Representative Marvin L. Abney and Senate Finance Chairman, Senator Louis P. DiPalma. Both will discuss highlights of the state budget and issues expected to arise during this election cycle.

The Politics & Pancakes series is dedicated to bringing government officials and leaders to the area for speaking programs and panel discussions on issues of importance to the local business community. Each year, the series welcomes the Governor, members of the General Assembly, members of the Congressional Delegation, and others to speak on policy issues impacting Rhode Islanders. For each event, tickets include admission and a full buffet breakfast. Guests enjoy hearing from the keynote speakers as well as networking before and after the speaking program.
