Middletown, R.I.: The Newport County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with businesses and local media sponsors to create a new event series. The Nonprofit Leaders Roundtable Series, sponsored by US Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management, will be dedicated to bringing professional workshops and educational seminars to nonprofit leaders on issues unique to their organizations.

“We are regularly working on ways to provide new and valuable programs to our members. Approximately half of the nonprofit organizations on Aquidneck Island are active members of the Chamber of Commerce,” said Erin Donovan-Boyle, Executive Director of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce “A recent survey conducted by students from Roger Williams University indicated nonprofit leaders would appreciate specialized educational workshops, so we’ve created this series to feature topics unique to the non-profit community.”

The first event will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Speakers for this first event include:

Donald Greene, Philanthropic Client Relationship Executive, U.S. Trust
Anthony Maione, President & Chief Executive Officer, United Way of Rhode Island
Kaity Ryan, Deputy Chief of Staff, The Preservation Society of Newport County

Following the presentation guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beer & wine compliments of Russell Morin Catering & Events. A limited number of tickets are still available online at NewportChamber.com.
