Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce announces 2024 EXPO and Excellence in Business Awards Dinner

The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) is preparing for the 2024 EXPO, being held Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at the Wyndham Newport Atlantic Resort.

Over 60 businesses and organizations will participate in the event, showcasing their products and services to local community members. The event is free to attend and will feature live DJ music.

In support of the event, the Chamber will be hosting the 18th Annual Excellence in Business Awards Dinner, sponsored by Carey, Richmond & Viking Insurance, on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at the Wyndham Newport Atlantic Resort. The awards ceremony will honor local businesses for their achievements in five categories including Small, and Micro Business, Woman – Owned, and Emerging Leader. The keynote speaker for the event will be Jennifer Brummund, Raytheon’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Tickets for the dinner event are available online.

“The Greater Newport EXPO is a great way for businesses to showcase their products and services to the broader community,” said Chamber President & CEO, Erin Donovan-Boyle. “We’ve decided to build upon the success of the event by hosting our Excellence in Business awards dinner immediately following the EXPO. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our members and all of their accomplishments in these two combined events.”
