• Aquatics Coordinator

    Description: This position is responsible for, but not limited to, developing and executing plans to increase participation and revenue for all Aquatics programming, while ensuring safety at all times.

    Job Requirements

    · Strong communication skills both oral and written are required

    · Knowledge of programs and activities. Able to receive and provide accurate information to staff and customers

    · Certified lifeguard, First Aid and CPR. Lifeguard instructor (LGI), American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.

    · Required to get RI Non-surf certified through RI DEM.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    · Oversee Aquatics program and all duties related to the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County’s Aquatic’s Program to include but not limited to swim lessons, swim rentals and open swim.

    · Assist with all pool operations, supplies, logs and maintenance

    · Assist with recruitment, training and supervising Guards and Instructors.

    · Ensure adherence to safety protocols and execution of Mou’s

    Terms of Employment:

    This is a full-time management position with benefits. Compensation based on experience. Salary Range is $33,500.00-$37,500.00

Programs include after school licensed child care, homework help, a teen center, summer camp, swimming lessons and aquatics, a fitness center, dance and drama, computers and technology, music and music production, and the fine arts.
