• Retail Ad Coordinator

    POSITION SUMMARY: 

    The Ad Coordinator is responsible for the execution of Ad (ROP or Flyer), Crazy Deal, and Internet Coupon Program setups, as well as driving sales within each program. This position will execute merchandise directives in support of the sales floor. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Work with Store Leadership and Field Merchandiser for Ad Plan and Product Placement
    • Work with the Receiver and Department Heads to locate Ad merchandise 
    • Perform detailed walks through the store each day for the Ads (ROP and Flyer), Crazy Deal, and Internet Coupon Program setups 
    • Address and resolve any signage and/or product issues 
    • Fill in Ad, Crazy Deal, and Internet Coupon product based on sales by partnering with the Store Leadership team, Field Merchandiser, Department Heads, and Receiver 
    • Research any items found to be out of stock; find items and replace on the sales floor 
    • Review weekly and monthly documents and reports (examples: shipping manifest, items not on a shelf, Ad On-Hands using Qlik, Top 40, Top 80) 
    • Support the Sidewinder Program with proper placement of the fixtures. Fill or change product as needed 
    • Ensure that the register inboards are kept full with appropriate product 
    • Assist with training store associate as back up coordinator position 
    • Operate a cash register, as needed 
    • Perform other related store associate duties as required and assigned (example: stocking, pricing, signage, cashier, and customer service) 

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Prior retail merchandise display experience with OSJL, preferred 
    • Solid written and verbal communications skills. Basic math and reading skills, and legible handwriting 
    • Computer skills (email; Google platform i.e. sites, slides, drive, docs, sheets; Qlik)

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

    • Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. This position requires extended periods of moving, remaining stationary, ascending, descending, , and/or positioning oneself to complete various tasks throughout the shift. 
    • Responsible for physical activities including using hand tools, ascending or descending a ladder, moving, reaching, and lifting on a frequent basis: should be able to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis.
