• Process Improvement Consultant

    The Process Improvement Consultant will partner with the Executive Leadership team to execute Lean Six Sigma processes and the strategy for a Lean Six Sigma culture within Embrace Home Loans. The ideal candidate will have experience leading project management, process improvement, and change management initiatives. This position will contribute to the prioritization of projects to ensure work aligns with process automation, efficiency, and strategic improvement goals.

     

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

    Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Skills, Licenses, and Systems Experience

     

    A.     Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

    B.     Experience: 5 years of experience leading Lean Six Sigma projects. Mortgage, Banking or Finance background preferred.

    ADKAR or equivalent change management experience a plus.

    C.     Skills:   Critical Leadership skills include : Decision making, consensus building, motivating others and giving & accepting feedback. 

    Critical consulting skills include customer focus, relationship building, leading without authority, flexibility, listening and translating and collaboration/teamwork

    Deep working knowledge of Agile methodologies – Lean, scrum, Kanban, scrumban

    Process and Lean Six Sigma expert including skilled in DMAIC, Value stream mapping, root cause analysis, Kaizen, change management, and project management

    D.    Certifications: LSS Black Belt or Lean equivalent required

    E.     Systems: General computer and virtual communication/collaboration platform literacy. Expert in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Sharepoint

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Partner with subject matter experts to generate and analyze information that address productivity, efficiency, complexity, and strategic opportunities in order to generate solutions while enhancing the customer experience.

     

    Perform value stream mapping and gap analysis as needed. Create, update and provide status on key metrics and effectively communicate results, findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization.

    Ability to facilitate events/working sessions with multiple stakeholders.

    Design, develop, modify, launch and troubleshoot projects in response to needs analysis.

     

    Perform analyses to ensure data integrity and opportunities for improvements.

     

    Partner with business owners to optimize the achievement of strategic business objectives, to include profitale growth, and organizational effectiveness.

    Implement continuous process improvement techniques (process mapping, metrics, monitoring systems, and process control techniques)

     

    Proactively identifies gaps/opportunities or improvement within processes or organization, leads structured problem solving and influences business area leaders, manager and associates to implement solutions. 

    Create and maintain a repository of standard work for the organization.

    Train employees in the organization on new or changing processes, audit for compliance and provide best practice coaching.
