    Position:                   Senior Level Director Position
     
     
    General Statement of Duties:
    Provide overall coordination and oversight of Vocational-Employment services. Provide leadership, training and guidance to program management and staff through a positive team building approach. Work in a collaborative manner with a wide variety of individuals, families, guardians and state agencies.
     
    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Develop and lead a system of innovative, flexible and person-centered employment opportunities
    • Identify and develop on-going innovations in the field of integrated employment opportunities, customized employment and entrepreneurship where applicable
    • Foster and maintain professional partnerships with all interested parties
    • Build solid relationships with provider communities, families and community employers in order to ensure new referrals and continue to grow program visibility and community connections
    • Promote full community integration on behalf of all participants
    • Develop and monitor yearly program budgets
    • Develop and maintain effective data collection systems for ongoing reporting requirements
    • Provide effective supervision, professional development, coaching and mentoring of staff
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with BHDDH standards, state agency regulations, and JLMC Quality Management protocols
    • Participate in all external program reviews
    • Provide support and guidance for program issues and concerns
    • Complete all required trainings and certifications
     
    Qualifications
    Required
     
    • Bachelor's degree preferred in health or human services related field, or five years of experience working with individuals with development disabilities with 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
    • Demonstrated ability to function independently
    • Demonstrated knowledge of employment and transition services is required
    • Effective critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
