    East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Middletown Child Opportunity Zone (MCOZ) to coordinate supportive services for Middletown Public Schools elementary and middle school students that encourage connections to school and provide out of school time opportunities that extend learning and promote school success. The Middletown Child Opportunity Zone Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Middletown Child Opportunity Zone in partnership with Middletown Public Schools. In collaboration with the NFCOZ Director and Middletown Public Schools, develop, facilitate, and coordinate the implementation of the MCOZ program goals and also develop a yearly Enrichment Calendar for after school programs, vacation camps, and summer enrichment activities.
     
    Coordinate services for children and families of Middletown, giving priority to subsets of students designated as at risk. Supervise students who participate in activities; manage behavior, sickness, injuries, support social/emotional concerns and other supportive needs, and ensure safe arrival and dismissal at program sites.
     
    Create opportunities for agencies, organizations, community stakeholders and families to collaborate in support of student success The Middletown Child Opportunity Zone will have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Education or Social Services.

    Prior experience in program development and oversight of out of school time programs, family services, and student support services. This is a full year position, 35 hours per week. The position may require some evening and weekend work to support programs and events in the Middletown Public Schools during the school year.
