    Aquatic’s Director

    Description: This position is responsible for, but not limited to, reviewing and creating budgets, marketing materials, scheduling and developing program plans to increase participation.

    Job Requirements

    · Strong communication skills both oral and written are required

    · Able to work without direction after the appropriate training

    · Bachelor’s Degree with Lifeguarding, CPR & AED Certification, Lifeguard Instructor (LGI), American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.

    · Strong experience in building, growing and maintaining successful Swim Lesson programming.

    · Required to get RI Non-surf certified through RI DEM.

    Job Responsibilities

    · Oversee all duties related to the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County’s Aquatic’s Program to include but not limited to swim team, adult swim, partnerships

    · Create and monitor budgets

    · Recruit Guards, coaching staff and Instructors, build pipeline of staff and coordinate schedules as needed

    · Oversee all pool operations, supplies, logs and maintenance

    · Supervise and train Aquatics Coordinator and aquatics staff

    This is a full-time management position with benefits. Compensation based on experience. Salary Range is $37,000.00-$44,000.00

    The Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County offers a variety of programs for children, teens, adults and families. Programs include after school licensed child care, homework help, a teen center, summer camp, swimming lessons and aquatics, a fitness center, dance and drama, computers and technology, music and music production, and the fine arts.
