• Part Time Content Coordinator for Portsmouth Living Magazine

    The Content Coordinator writes, edits and uploads content for each issue alongside the publisher. The CC will gather relevant neighborhood and community news, upload the content by the Submission Deadline and assist in proofing the magazine to ensure a polished, print-ready product.

    Maximum 20 hours a month. Monthly pay. 

    Work from home. 

    Responsibilities of the Content Coordinator: 

    ï compile a local Calendar of Events section 

    ï upload all content into the Back Office portal by the Submission Deadline 

    ï proof magazine content within 24 business hours of receiving a magazine proof from the Designer 

    ï edit all contributed content before going to print and after receive first rough draft of magazine issue

    ï write up to two Business Profiles OR two extra articles each month (depending on direction from the Publisher as needed) and must obtain approval from article subject before uploading into the system.


    Required skills:

    ï must have proficient computer skills, such as internet navigation, copy + paste, email, and uploading/downloading images and attachments

    ï must have Microsoft Word and Excel and be comfortable using them

    ï must show professional, friendly and timely communication via email and phone

    ï must have strong organizational and time management skills in order to successfully manage and write incoming content from multiple sources

    Must live on Aquidneck Island.
