Position Summary The Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and implementing strategies to attract a pool of qualified candidates for Safe Harbor Marinas. The Recruiter reports to the Director of Workforce Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Build applicant pool for key positions throughout the organization with immediate focus on Technicians. Develop relationships with appropriate schools/organizations that support our industry by coordinating participation in job fairs, maintaining relationships with career development teams, organizing internships, engaging with students and any other approved initiatives. Review and analyze applicant pool by using UKG/Kronos. Manage the interview process including scheduling and conducting interviews for priority roles. Assist with preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Coordinate the applicant experience from initial inquiry to start date. Work with outside headhunters and staffing agencies to identify new talent as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Available to work overtime when required.
Technical and Physical Requirements Working knowledge of the marine industry Bachelor's Degree preferred3-5 years of recruiting experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient in UKG/Kronos preferred, experience with an ATS required Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 20 pounds Ability to travel when necessary
