    POSITION TITLE: Event Specialist

    DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Senior Event Specialist/Director of Events

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    ·        Detail and execute flawless corporate, social, non-profit and wedding events

    ·        Possess comprehensive knowledge of food, beverage and décor trends

    ·        Understand the operational flow of the venue and service standards

    ·  Coordinate and attend client tastings

    ·  Create accurate BEOs per Longwood Standards and attend BEO Meetings

    ·        Create accurate floor plans using Event Management Software

    ·        Fulfill day of the event duties

    ·        Maintain accurate client files within approved guidelines

     

     

    YOUR EXPERIENCE:

    At least 3 years’ experience in event planning at a high end hotel, catering company or special event venue

    Effective leadership and collaboration skills as a manager

    Tripleseat + Allseated a plus

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proficient in Computer skills – Microsoft Office
    • Require availability to work flexible hours and weekends
    • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, written & verbal communication skills
    • Collaborate with all departments and foster team environment
