Ophthalmic Assistant

Eye Care for Rhode Island (Middletown, R.I.) Ophthalmic Technician

Looking for a highly motivated Ophthalmic Assistant. Part-time or full-time after a 90-day evaluation period in a fast-paced, technology-driven ophthalmology practice.

Duties include:

• Utilizing electronic health records and patient screening.
• Testing equipment.
• Assisting in minor surgical procedures.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in Accreditation of Ophthalmic Medical Programs or graduate from medical assistant program preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
