The person in this position will be responsible for assisting the manager in the day to day operations of the bakery. The ideal candidate has previous experience with Baking, Decorating, working in a bakery or cafe, a love for the food industry, and a willingness to learn and grow within the bakery field. This position is great for the experienced worker/baker. A large part of the job is also multi-tasking while waiting on customers, as we are very customer-focused, and strive to provide top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Bake and Decorate Cupcakes and Cakes
• Measure, Mix and Bake other related bakery items
• Conform to standard food handling and sanitation protocols.
• Clean & sanitize the kitchen and equipment as needed.
• Operate mixing machines and ovens as needed.
• Operate cash register to make sales.
• Keep store stocked with ingredients, supplies, and products for sale.
• Help customers choose products for purchase.
• Sell products requested by customers.
• Additional kitchen tasks, and day to day bakery assistance.

This position would include some morning shifts, some day shifts, some closing shifts and at least one shift each weekend (preferably, Sundays)

Hours vary in the Summer, vs the Fall and Winter, based on shop closing times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
