Lucky Dog Resort is an award-winning luxury resort just for Dogs. We offer Overnight stays, Vacations, Enrichment Daycare, Training, and our signature Wedding Valet service. Lucky Dog is the go-to luxury Dog destination for discerning pet parents around the globe.

We are in search of dedicated, hard-working candidates for our Dog Counselor position. You will provide professional care for our Dog guests within our Daycare and Boarding Programs, with opportunities to sleep over with the Pups!

Your Responsibilities -

Ensure Dogs are healthy and happy by:

• Following all procedures and tasks to the level of service and care that is expected from our facility. Safety is our number one priority!
• Maintaining a clean, germ-free environment
• Caring for individual, small, and large groups of Dogs
• Engaging with Dogs physically, mentally, and emotionally
• Keeping our Clients happy by being friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful
• Performing administrative tasks such as Report Cards, Check-Ins & Outs, and logging important information

Skills/Qualifications -

• Previous experience with animals (Dogs are a plus +++) in a professional (or personal) capacity
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Stamina to be able to stand, walk around, care for Dogs, and clean throughout your shift
• Ability to multitask well
• Ability to follow policies and procedures, always

• A genuine and obvious love for Dogs. You couldn’t hide it if you tried!
• Strong work ethic; you actually enjoy working!
• Ready to go the extra mile; you are a step-up kind of person
• A customer service rock star
• Team-oriented but also individually responsible and accountable.
• On time and present for all of your scheduled shifts.

Compensation -

Starting from $18+ per hour (Depending on relevant experience)

Schedule -

Our ideal new Team Member will be able to work a mix of day and overnight shifts, and some weekend day or overnight shifts. Nights are great because you get to sleep in bed with the Pups in a very chill setting.
