Overview
In this role, you will tests, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic components, parts, equipment and systems. Full time, onsite, day shift position
Responsibilities
- Performs general preventative and corrective maintenance
- Diagnoses, trouble shoots and repairs customer returns
- Installs and removes systems and subsystems
- Implements engineering changes
- Sets up apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units
- Adjusts and calibrates systems as required
- Modifies electronic equipment as defined by engineering; corrects malfunctions as directed
- Enters and updates information in Service / Material Management Databases
- Undertakes ‘customer facing’ diagnostic activities over the phone when required
Qualifications
- AS Degree or equivalent, plus 3 - 5 years experience in electronics, diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems, or equivalent level of skills and experience
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good communication skills and good team player
- Must be a US citizen. KVH cannot sponsor at this time.
This is a full time, onsite position.
