2021 Coastal Queen Cruises Reservationists Job Description

1. Takes direction from the Ferry Manager & Assistant Ferry Manager

2. Customer service skills are required

3. Cash management skills are required

4. Must have a general understanding of Jamestown & Newport restaurants, shops, and local happenings

5. Must be able to use an iPad to create reservations for customers/check customers in

6. Must be able to project a professional appearance and manner

7. Workspace must be organized, neat and presentable

8. Must be able to alert customers of schedule changes

9. Ability to work independently and under pressure

10. Answers the phone in a professional manner and assists customers with reservations, questions, and accommodations

11. Must be able to communicate effectively

12. Restocking brochures and area maps on a daily basis

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Hours per week:

• 20-29
