    *OVERVIEW*
    The Operations Supervisor supports the Assistant Branch Manager by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch to ensure all functions are completely and properly performed. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the teller function and the cash control of the branch including: ATM balancing, Cash Recyclers, and the Vault. The Operations Supervisor will assist in monthly and quarterly tasks such as completion of reports, audits, and record retention. The Operations Supervisor must have a familiarity with all personal and business banking products and services. The Operations Supervisor will participate in the “We’re All In” initiative and be responsible for individual sales goals contributing to overall branch sales success. The Operations Supervisor will assist the Assistant Branch Manager in supervising the Relationship Bankers to provide excellent customer service, identify sales opportunities, and coach the team to consistently strive to achieve and exceed sales goals.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers.
    • Fully participates in the Bank’s “We’re All In” initiative. Responsible for identifying customers’ needs, making recommendations based on customer needs, and refers customers to appropriate partners.
    • Coaches team to deliver the highest level of customer service.
    • Review operations and sales scorecards to meet and exceed individual and team goals and metrics.
    • Opens and closes the branch, following security procedures. Responsible for effective branch operations.
    • Heads onboarding process for new hires.
    • Assists new Relationship Bankers with transactional, operational, and referral training.
    • Develops and deploys individual coaching plans for transactional trained bankers.
    • Maintain sufficient proficiency and accuracy in Teller operations to perform all teller related transactions and inquiries.
    • Oversees Relationship Banker duties and assists line with customer transactions.
    • Keeps staff informed of pertinent changes in operational policy and procedures.
    • Prepares Relationship Banker performance appraisals and disciplinary notices as required.
    • Schedules Relationship Bankers for adequate coverage at all times.
    • Keeps educated on all deposit, business and consumer loan products.
    • Balances and troubleshoots ATM/debit card concerns.
    • Maintains proper individual cash boxes and vault cash levels, including ordering coin and currency.
    • Reports facility/building concerns to maintenance.
    • Meets with staff regarding branch security and safety issues.
    • Facilitates meetings to disseminate operational information.
    • Responsible for making sound decisions with overriding and approving certain transactions.

    Performs related and unrelated duties as may be needed.

    Performs work within established guidelines and according to specific procedures. Refers problems to immediate supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • College degree preferred or equivalent plus specialized course work in retail services.
    • At least 3 years of customer service and operations experience.
    • Supervisory experience expected.
    • Must have excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, organizational, customer service and sales skills.
    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Individual must be proficient with technology and Microsoft Office, specifically word and excel.
