    PURVIS Systems has immediate full-time position open for a Data Entry Specialist, who is proficient with Microsoft Excel in support of data entry tasks/responsibilities.
     
    The Data Entry Specialist will be a member of the engineering design/drafting team.
     

    Supporting U.S Navy system designs and development including performance of the following tasks:

    The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include

    • Review of government furnished information (GFI) and engineering drawing redlines to incorporate into drawing package as required.
    • Review of engineering drawing redlines.
    • Update and maintain electrical databases using Microsoft Excel.
    • Databases may include parts lists, connector/cabling wiring tables.

    Qualifications

    • 0 - 3 years professional experience.
    • Ability to review Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and understand required changes.
    • Ability to work closely with Subject Matter Experts and Navy military and civilian personnel.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word required.
    • Technical school or Associates degree not required, but a plus.
    • Knowledge of existing submarine systems, Military Specifications, and previous defense industry is a plus.
     

    Candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.
