PT Bookkeeper

Farmaesthetics is looking for a PT Bookkeeper who will work directly with CEO, Director of Operations and Farmaesthetics external accounting firm to manage the company’s finances.
 
 
Position: PT approx 24 hours/week
 
 
Pay: $32-38/ hour depending on experience
 
 
Location: Newport, RI Home Office with possibility of remote
 
 
The Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.  Role well suited to a flexible, positive, collaborative person that is comfortable with a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
 
 
Skill Sets Required:
 

• QuickBooks Online
• Working with team to create and manage yearly budget
• Managing all AR and AP
• Managing banking reports, internal accounting controls, and certain aspects of HR
• Preparing financial reports as requested by leadership
• Monthly sales tax reporting and submission
• Managing the company's annual insurance renewals and employee health insurance policies
• Preparing and submitting bi-weekly payroll 
• Preparing and submitting bi-weekly payment to 1099 contractors
• Preparing and submitting bank deposits and sales transactions
• Recording journal entries 
• Reconciling accounts
• Oversee and conduct year-end inventory reconciliation
• Oversee and conduct year-end close in collaboration with external accounting firm
