    Full Job Description

    East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a Full-time Case Manager, Workforce Development at the Florence Gray Center, 1 York Street, Newport, RI, to recruit, enroll, retain, and provide documented follow-through for adult learners to ECP (Education and Career Pathways) and Assurance 16 programs and provide coordinated case management by removing barriers for enrollment, engagement, and continued participation. Set goals with adult learners that assist them with their transition to work or to post-secondary education/training. Document post-program progress at six (6) month and twelve (12) month intervals.
    Process appropriate releases of information to obtain education, vocational, medical/behavioral health records, etc., that may relate to, and/or impact an individual’s ability to succeed in the program. Provide coaching as needed and as related to barriers for academic/vocational/employment goals. Assist with the completion of applications for internal and external community resources for clients as needed.
    EBCAP is committed to the safety of our employees and clients during this COVID-19 medical crisis. We are currently conducting our interviews remotely. Our new hires are attending orientation and program-specific orientations remotely, and proof of Covid-19 vaccinations is required.
    Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field or related field, and a minimum of 2 years of related experience required, and be proficient with computer systems including Microsoft Office. Must have demonstrated case management skills and experience; emergency intervention methods, family dynamics, health, mental health, and substance abuse systems; and knowledge of community resources. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
