Economic Update Luncheon: The Blue Economy and Southern New England

Southern New England has one of the oldest and most diverse maritime industry clusters in the world.  From traditional ship building to marine robotics, the region is home to world-class companies, research universities, and key organizations such as the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) and the US Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC).  Learn how state and federal initiatives are being formed to support marine technology firms and grow new ?blue? industry clusters in sectors like Offshore Wind, Marine Renewable Energy, and Aquaculture.
