    The R.I. Infrastructure Bank is hosting the 3rd annual R.I. Infrastructure Summit on September 26th at the R.I. Convention Center. The Summit brings together hundreds of public and private sector professionals to tackle state and local infrastructure needs, discuss innovative solutions, and connect with project partners.

    Rhode Island Trade Mission to Toronto & Montreal This mission, organized by the partnership of the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, the Chafee Center for International Business at Bryant University, CIDEP, and the US Commercial Service will allow participating Rhode Island companies to gain valuable insights and access the Canadian market, make key industry contacts, solidify business strategies and advance specific projects.

    The next cybersecurity leadership seminar will take place next Wednesday, May 8th from 9-10:30am. The topic of the seminar is “2019 New England Cybersecurity Landscape” with Matt Leathers, senior consultant with Kettle Consulting Group. Mr. Leathers has worked with different companies around the world helping them change and respond to the challenging technology and security landscape.

    NE I-Corps is partnering with URI Research Foundation and Venture Mentoring Service of RI to offer a free, 3-week program from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to help researchers and engineers explore the potential applications of their new technologies.

    The U.S. Small Business Administration and the Center for Women & Enterprise will partner to host the Rhode Island Small Business Economic Summit. This small business strategic planning conference will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

    To help celebrate 2018 National Veterans Small Business Week from November 5th through 9th, the U.S. Small Business Administration's Rhode Island District Office will be holding workshops across the state on various small business topics.

    Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend a public meeting concerning improvements to the Aquidneck Ave Intersection in Middletown. Improvements will happen at Green End Ave, Purgatory Road, Crescent Road and Valley Road. Will take place Tuesday, October 2 at 6pm at Middletown Town Hall, Council Chambers, 350 East Main Road, Middletown.
