Greater Newport Chamber to host Annual Expo

Middletown, RI: The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend the 2024 EXPO on Tuesday, April 9^th from 4-6:30pm at the Wyndham Newport Atlantic Resort at 240 Aquidneck Ave in Middletown. This event is free to attend and offers free onsite parking.

This year’s Expo, sponsored by Cox Communications, promises an unparalleled opportunity for local businesses to connect with the local community. Over 60 businesses and organizations will be in attendance and ready to offer information, promotions, materials, and more. Represented industries include healthcare, finance, hospitality, media, professional services, and home improvement, among others, with a full list of exhibitors in the April 4^th issue of Newport This Week.

Some exhibitors will be selling merchandise and there will be samples available from food & beverage businesses including The Bow Bar, Greenvale Vineyards, McGrath Clambakes & Catering, Newport Chowder Company, Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling, and others. Attendees will also enjoy live DJ music courtesy of Luke Renchan Entertainment and a chance to meet Gully, the Newport Gulls’ mascot. A cash bar will be open for the event.

Immediately following the EXPO, the Chamber will host the 18^th Annual Excellence in Business Awards Dinner, sponsored by Carey, Richmond & Viking Insurance. This event will honor local businesses for their successes in five categories including Big, Small, and Micro Business, Woman – Owned, and Emerging Leader. This celebration will welcome Jennifer Brummund, Raytheon’s Chief Human Resources Officer as keynote speaker. Tickets for this dinner event are available at www.newportchamber.com

All booth reservations include amenities to ensure successful presentation, including pipe and drape set up, a personalized sign with business name, a 6-foot table with linens, two chairs, and listings online and in print.
