Maher Center, Newport, RI, is devoted to providing a broad range of services that advance independence and create opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities, their families and the community at large. In order to provide employment for our clients and generate funds to support our mission, the Maher Center also offers a range of services for businesses and individuals, sells retail products including plants and gardening supplies through our Garden Center in Middletown, RI, Beaded Star handmade jewelry and craft supplies through the Craft Stop online store, and hosts numerous fundraising and special events throughout the year.
